Esther’s Academy has since expanded and we are now in several locations across two continents. The Birmingham team went to train some members in South Africa (2016) and are capable to head to a city near you to train more groups on this phenomenal programme.The coordinators were asked a few questions to reveal to us the heart of who is leading the programmes.

WHO AM I? I’m Catherine Ngobeni. I am a wife, mother of two, and co-pastor of Freedom of Ministries on God's Foundation and along with my husband we pastor Cosmo City Family Church. I lead a women’s ministry as my calling is to help women discover their potential which the enemy has put a veil over. Through Impact Women Ministry they are: taught about their God given talents which if used in the obedience to our Lord Jesus Christ, they will be blessed and increase; encouraged to be productive, confident, strong, respectable, wise and God fearing. WHAT INSPIRED ME TO START EA HERE? I was at a place where I was seeking God for the next level concerning the women’s ministry. On my visit to the UK (April 2016), as one of the guest speakers at the Women Of Worth Conference, I got to interact with Pastor Yvonne Brooks and later we met where she told me about EA and her prayer to start a branch in South Africa. That became an answered prayer to the next steps for the women’s ministry. I grabbed EA with both hands and never looked back. In Summer 2016 Pastor Yvonne Brooks and her Team came to give us training, it revealed to me how much I needed to teach the others but to also walk this journey of Esther. My team and I completed the training course and were empowered, edified and fulfilled in what we received through EA training. The course did not only prepare us for the EA program, but it also awakened desires which were long buried in us as individual, be it personal or ministry wise. We started dreaming again and seeing life with a different perspective.
Best Moments I Have Experienced Through Running Esther's Academy
I am not alone; I have been blessed with an excellent Team of women whom I am working together with. The team was chosen by God, I have Moira Grobbelaar, who is also our youth Pastor, and Nandipha Nkosi. Since we started EA on the 3rd June 2017, it has been exciting to see how these workshops has transformed women who are doing EA from not thinking much of themselves in many aspects of life, to a place where they begin to believe in themselves, realize their own beauty, know they are loved and are embracing who they are in God.
