Christine McKenney

My name is Christine McKinney I’ve been running the Esther’s Academy in Dunstable for 3 years now. I am a wife of 37 years to my dear Rob, mother to two and grandmother of three. I have worked full time for 20 years as a Partner Services Manager for a non-profit Christian Charity that allows me to travel across America 2-3 times per year. I also lead the Ladies ministry in our Church (Community Church in Dunstable) and have done so for a number of years, prior to that Rob and I were youth Pastors for over 15 years which we thoroughly enjoyed. We have seen many of the young people who were in our care grow up into Godly young men and women taking on responsibilities not only in our own Church but in other churches in different towns. I have had a heart for Ladies for quite a few years, my desire is to teach and prepare ladies: to know who they are in God, to know exactly what they have in God and to know what they can achieve in God. It gives me great pleasure to see Ladies step out and walk in this freedom. I had known about Esther’s Academy since 2011 when I attended a graduation banquet and after hearing the testimonies I really felt that I wanted to take the course. In 2014, Maxine came with me and became my assistant at the Dunstable course. I was so blown away by what we experienced, it was so anointed and has something special and unique for every lady where they can trade in the old for something new in their lives! The session on 'Your worth' changed my life and I decided to set one goal of clearing my personal debt by age 60, I prayed and put it into action. I can honestly say that my personal debts have been paid (I’m not even 60 yet)! After taking the course I really felt that this was something that the ladies in our church should know about, hence I brought it to Dunstable and it has been such a pleasure and a joy to see the ladies lives changed.
